SAT Exam Fees in India
The College Board has currently set up the SAT registration fee at $68 or INR 5678.40 (subject to change). However, there are other fees too, like late fees, score fees, and miscellaneous fees. The SAT exam fees can be divided into two parts:
- Fees for August 2024 to June 2025 Administration
- Score Services Fees

SAT Exam Fee Waivers
The SAT Fee Waivers provide eligible students with the opportunity to take the SAT for free and receive additional benefits. To obtain a fee waiver, eligible students can either speak with their school counselor or request one directly from the College Board. It’s important to review the eligibility criteria and apply for fee waivers early to ensure timely benefits. Students must also be prepared to provide contact information for an adult who can verify their eligibility.
It’s highly important to meet the eligibility criteria to avoid future consequences, such as being banned from taking College Board assessments. Homeschooled students can also request fee waivers directly from the College Board or seek assistance from a local high school counselor, with proof of eligibility required. SAT Exam Fee Payment Methods
Since the SAT being an international exam, the payment methods are slightly different. Students often get confused regarding the payment of the SAT exam fee and other related fees. Here are the options for you to pay your exam fees:
- Credit Cards: You can use American Express, Discover, Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club, and JCB.
- PayPal: If you don’t have a PayPal account, create one before registering. Note that PayPal isn’t available in Ghana.
There are more methods available, but only for American students. Remember that cash payments are not accepted for SAT exam fees. Choose the method that suits your convenience and follow the instructions during registration
