CAT Exam Admit Card 2024: Know Important Dates, Where & How To Download The CAT Hall Ticket

The official date to download the CAT exam admit card has been released. It will be released by IIM on 05th November 2024. Students can download the admit card for the CAT exam by visiting iimcat.ac.in. Those who have registered for the CAT exam will be able to download the admit card for the same by simply using their valid log in ID and password created at the time of CAT exam registration. 

This document is essential for all candidates, as it serves as proof of eligibility to enter the exam center. Failure to carry the admit card on the exam day will result in candidates being unable to take the CAT exam. 

The CAT 2024 exam will be conducted in three shifts in online CBT mode across 400+ exam centers in more than 170 cities nationwide. 1. Candidates must carry two copies of their CAT 2024 admit card along with a valid photo ID proof (original and photocopy) issued by the Government of India or their previous college/university.

2. Only the CAT 2024 admit card, photo ID card, and essential items provided by authorities (like a writing pad and pen for rough work) are permitted inside the exam hall. Mobile phones, calculators, iPads, or any electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited.

Candidates can carry any of the following ID proofs along with their CAT 2024 admit card:

• E-Aadhaar

3. Candidates must arrive at the CAT exam center at the reporting time mentioned on their admit cards to complete pre-exam formalities without delay.

5. Candidates should not sign their CAT admit card before entering the exam hall. The signature must be done inside the exam hall in the presence of an invigilator.

7. Items such as bags, jackets with pockets, headgear, and any kind of jewellery containing metal are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall. Candidates with medical implants like pacemakers must carry a medical certificate.
